Profile
A Clinical Psychologist and Public Health Specialist, my professional journey has been driven by a deep
commitment to improving mental health outcomes and addressing public health challenges on both individual and community levels. With a dual focus on clinical practice and public health initiatives, I strive to integrate psychological expertise with comprehensive public health strategies to foster well-being across diverse populations.
My academic background includes advanced degrees in Clinical Psychology and Public Health, which have equipped me with a robust foundation in mental health assessment, therapeutic interventions, and public health principles. Over the past decade, I have dedicated myself to providing evidence-based psychological services, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and group therapy, to individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions.
In my role as a Clinical Psychologist, I have had the privilege of working in various settings, including hospitals, community health centres, and private practice. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the complex interplay between mental health and social determinants of health, inspiring me to pursue further specialization in public health. I have been actively involved in designing and implementing community-based mental health programs that address issues such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
As a public health specialist, I have contributed to numerous research projects and public campaigns aimed at improving mental health awareness and accessibility. My overarching mission is to bridge the gap between clinical psychology and public health, promoting a more integrated approach to mental health care. I am dedicated to advancing the field through research, advocacy, and innovative program development, ultimately striving to create healthier and more resilient communities.
